Thank you!A big thank you to all the hundreds of attendees, speakers and sponsors who came to Brussels and made sure that Cool Chain 2009 was an absolutely incredible event. From the fascinating panel discussion on sea transport to the vastly enjoyable and exciting dinner and awards, there were so many memorable moments and valuable components. Congratulations to award winners Envirotainer QEP, Fed Ex and Entropy - well deserved wins in every case, raising the bar for next year! So what now?Look out for a transcript of the sea transport debate, soon to be appearing online! Take part in the continuing debate; throughout the year we will be posting your views to the website as you continue the debate started on the roundtables at Cool Chain 2009. First topic: What should you put in a regulatory file?Case study example for debate: A company is shipping a product with a label claim of 2-8 degrees Celsius but the monitor is set to alarm at 0-10 degrees Celsius; is this a problem? If a monitor is set to alarm at a broader range than the label claim then it stands to reason that the product could experience an excursion beyond the label claim but within the monitors alarm settings – hence the excursion is never known or reported but presumably supported by stability data. Do you see this as an inconsistency? If you have an opinion let us know! Email courtney.becker@iqpc.co.uk and we'll post your comments to the website (you can choose whether you put your name to your submission).
