The NCO series is the premier Asian forum for knowledge sharing and exchange. As such only the most relevant speakers will present their thoughts and experiences.
Chairman
NCO 08 will be chaired by Colonel (Rt'd) Fred Stein, Senior principal engineer, NCW, Army Systems and Technology, MITRE. Colonel Stein's name is synonymous with network centric warfare. One of the original co-authors of the book, Colonel Stein has not only helped plant the seed of NCW/NCO, but has also helped it evolve, and adapt to an every changing set of climatic rules.
As well as chairing NCO 08, Colonel Stein will be addressing the issue of Digital Natives (DN) and Digital Immigrants (DI) during the plenary sessions.
Join him in his workshops on the 16th October to further develop your knowledge on two key issues:
- How standards are built in the Information Age and how to integrate Net Centric concepts
- Understanding the digital immigrants-digital natives divide and exploring the solutions that can be employed in order to close the digital gap
Colonel Stein will also be signing a number of his co-authored book, Network Centric Warfare. Copies will be available on site as will copies of other recent NCO related publications. All books will be free of charge.
